The 2012 Elmfield AGM will take place on Tuesday 21st of August at 8pm, in the back room of the county pub, Gosforth High Street. We have a number of important issues to discuss for the 2012-2013 season, so please make every effort to attend.

Summer Club
Summer club will begin on on Wednesday May 16th, and will run every Wednesday until August 22th, 7:30pm – 9:30pm.
The cost will be £5 per session, and the club is on an invitation only basis. Please contact Alison Thompson for more information on this.
Last Club Night Season 2011-2012
The last club night for season 2011-2012 will be Monday the 2nd of April. It would be great to send off the season in style, so try and get down to club if you can. Also the mixed 3rd team have their last match of the season, and will be aiming to win their division title. So it would be good so see some support for the team!

Fun Friendly v Fuller’s Talent – tight, teasing, tantalising match ends in Elmfield victory!!
You can forget your Barcelona v Man United pre-season friendly, the match that everyone’s talking about is Elmfield v Fuller’s Talent, a talented bunch of badders players from ‘down south’- well Tunbridge Wells to be precise.
The match took place on Saturday 20th August, with a slightly uneven line up of 11 Elmfield players (2 cheerleaders -Kim and Alison and 1 photographer – Mr P Robson) and 5 Fuller’s Talent Players.
Season 2011-2012 Start Dates
Hello everyone, I hope you are enjoying the summer and the summer club!
Our junior club will start again on Monday 12th of September at 6pm. Senior club will start on Thursday 8th of September at 7pm.
End Of Season and Summer Club
Club nights for the season 2010-2011 have now ended. The summer club will start on Wednesday the 18th of May, and will run every Wednesday from 7:30-9:30pm at Gibson Street until the 24th of August. The cost will be £5 per night for adults, and £4 for juniors.
Congratulations to the ladies team, who have won the premier division. The mixed 1st team were unlucky to miss out on the premier title, and came a close second.
All trophies will be presented at the NBA Ceilidh, on Saturday 14th of May. If you would like a ticket, please contact Julie Brown as soon as possible!
Latest Results
The mixed 1 team continued their good start to the season last night, with a hard fought 6-3 win against St Gabriels. The team was Sally Spendiff, Katie Wright, Kate McGill, Kristian Stuart, Andy Tham & Andy McGill. Kristian and Sally did especially well to win all 3 of their games. The next mixed 1 match is against Newcastle University a week on Tuesday.
Mens 1 also had a good win against Blyth Tynedale 6-3 away on Wednesday 26th of January.
Upcoming matches include Mens 1 and ladies vs LNER on the 1st of February, and mens 2 vs NCBC on the 3rd of February.

New Season 2010-2011
Welcome back to a new season at Elmfield! Our club nights have now started again at Church High School. We also have the exciting new addition of our junior club, running every Monday, and our start time has moved slightly to accommodate this. So, on a Monday the club will run from 7:30-10pm, and Thursdays are still 7-10pm. Training will take place on a Monday from 7:30-8:30pm. The fixtures for the season will be uploaded onto the site shortly.

Junior Club
Our new junior club, Elmfield Tigers will start on Monday 13th of September at Church High. Running from 6-7:30pm every Monday it will include a mixture of coaching, games and fun! Each session will be taken by a Badminton England Level 2 qualified coach. The cost will be £6 per session, or £70 for 1 term (September – December, and includes a club t-shirt and affiliation to Badminton England).
