After securing the title for the 4th time in a row last season, Ladies’ 1 are competing again in Premier Division for 2024-25. They will face St. Gab’s, Telecom 1st & 2nds teams & Newcastle University.

Elmfield Ladies’ 1st team competed in Premier Division during the 2023-24 season.
Team Captain: Holly Robson
A great season for Ladies’ 1 who won all 8 of their matches (8-1 & 7-2 against St. Gab’s, 5-4 & 7-2 against Telecom 1sts, 9-0 in both matches against Newcastle University, 9-0 in both matches against Telecom 2nds) so finished the season undefeated and claimed the Premier Division league title! The team will be competing in Premier Division again during the 2024-25 season.

Team Captain: Holly Robson
A brilliant season for Ladies’ 1 who won all 8 of their matches (5-4 & 6-3 against St. Gab’s, 8-1 & 9-0 against Newcastle University, 9-0 in both matches against NCBC & 6-3 & 7-2 against Telecom) so finished the season undefeated with 59 points and claimed the Premier Division league title! The team will be competing in Premier Division again during the 2023-24 season.

Team Captain: Catherine Thomas
An excellent season for Ladies’ 1 who won 7 out of their 8 matches (6-3 & 8-1 against St. Gab’s, 9-0 in both matches against Newcastle University, 9-0 in both matches against Yehlex & 7-2 at home to Telecom), only losing 6-3 to Telecom when they played them away so finished the season with 21 points and claimed the Premier Division league title! The team will be competing in Premier Division again during the 2022-23 season.

Team Captain: Rachel Frobisher
The Ladies’ 1st team had a fabulous season where they won 7 out of their 8 matches, finishing the season on 19 points and claiming the Premier Division league title! They won 9-0 in both matches against Telecom, 8-1 in both matches against Yehlex, 5-4 in both matches against St. Gab’s then won 6-3 against Newcastle University away but narrowly lost 5-4 at home.
Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, the leagues were voided and there was no promotion, relegation or trophy presentation in any of the leagues.

The Ladies’ 1st team finished in 2nd place in Premier Division again, winning 5 out of their 8 matches (9-0 and 6-3 against Riverside LC BC, 5-4 and 5-4 against Telecom and 7-2 against St. Gab’s) then lost twice against Newcastle University, 6-3 and 5-4, and once against St. Gab’s, 7-2. The team will be competing again in Premier Division during the 2019-20 season.

The Ladies’ 1st team did extremely well to finish in 2nd place in Premier Division, winning 6 out of 8 matches and only narrowly losing out to a strong St. Gabs team (4-5) in both fixtures. The team will be competing again in Premier Division during the 2018-19 season.
