Mixed 1 competed in Premier Division again for 2025-26 and were up against our Mixed 2nd team, Telecom and St. Gab’s 1st & 2nd teams. The team won 4 out of their 8 matches, beating Elmfield’s Mixed 2nd team 8-1 & 7-2, winning 5-4 in one of the matches against St. Gab’s 2nd team and winning 5-4 in one of the matches against Telecom. They lost 7-2 & 6-3 to St. Gab’s 1st team, 6-3 against Telecom in the away match and 5-4 against St. Gab’s 2nd team in the away match. The team finish the season in 3rd place, with 37 points, and will be competing in Premier Division again next season.

Mixed 1 finished in 3rd place in Premier Division this season. They claimed 5 wins (8-1 in both matches against St. Gab’s 2nd team, 6-3 against St. Gab’s 1st team, 7-2 against Telecom 1st team & 9-0 against Telecom 2nd team) & had 2 losses (8-1 against both St. Gab’s 1st team & Telecom 1st team) with 1 match (against Telecom 2nd team being unable to be played). This means that the team will be competing in Premier Division again during the 2025/26 season!

Mixed 1 competed in Premier Division where they faced St. Gab’s 1 & 2, Telecom & Newcastle University. The team had a great season, winning 7 out of their 8 matches (6-3 in both matches against Newcastle University, 7-2 & 8-1 against Telecom, 8-1 in both matches against St. Gab’s 2nds & 6-3 against St. Gab’s 1sts in the away match). They narrowly lost 5-4 to St. Gab’s at home meaning that they finished in 2nd place and will be competing in Premier Division again next season.

Mixed 1 competed in Premier Division where they faced Telecom 1 & 2 as well as St. Gab’s 1 & 2. The team had a great season, winning 7 out of their 8 matches (7-2 & 9-0 against Telecom 2, 8-1 & 7-2 against Telecom 1, 7-2 & 8-1 against St. Gab’s 2 & 5-4 against St. Gab’s 1). They lost 5-4 to St. Gab’s 1 in their final match of the season and had a nail biting wait to see the outcome of the St. Gab’s vs Telecom match which would determine the league champions! Unfortunately, St. Gab’s pipped Elmfield by 1 point, as they finished on 57 points, with Elmfield on 56, meaning Mixed 1 finished in 2nd place and will be competing in Premier Division again next season.

What a fab season for Mixed 1 who won all 8 of their matches, finished the season with 21 points and claimed the Premier Division league title! They beat St. Gab’s (8-1 at home & 5-4 away), Telecom (7-2 at home & 6-3 away), Newcastle University (8-1 in both matches) & St. Gab’s 2 (6-3 at home & 9-0 away) so they will compete in Premier Division again during the 2022-23 season!

The Mixed 1st team finished in 4th place in Premier Division, winning 1 out of their 7 matches (the final match, away against St. Gab’s 2, was unable to be played). They claimed a 6-3 win over St. Gab’s 2 at home but lost to Telecom (5-4 in both matches), St. Gab’s (6-3 and 7-2) and Newcastle University (5-4 in both matches).
Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, the leagues were voided and there was no promotion, relegation or trophy presentation in any of the leagues.

The Mixed 1st team finished in 4th place in Premier Division, winning 3 out of their 8 matches (5-4 and 7-2 against Elmfield 2nd team and 6-3 against Telecom) then lost twice against Newcastle University, 6-3 and 5-4, twice against St. Gab’s, 6-3 and 6-3 and once against Telecom, 6-3. The team will be competing again in Premier Division during the 2019-20 season.

The Mixed 1st team finished in second place in Premier Division, winning 6 out of 8 matches (beating Elmfield 2nd team 8-1 & 9-0, beating Telecom 6-3 & 5-4 & beating Newcastle University 8-1 in both home & away matches), only losing twice to a strong St. Gab’s team who finished the season unbeaten). The team will still be competing in Premier Division during the 2018-19 season.
